Honest: it disrupts unauthorized 13.56 MHz contactless (RFID/NFC) scans of the cards sharing your wallet — it’s a jammer, not a magic wall. It doesn’t protect your phone, and unless stated it won’t affect 125 kHz building-access fobs. Pull a card out to tap it and that card reads normally.

Field Questions

Field Questions

Field questions

How does one card protect all my cards?
It runs on E-Field technology — when a reader's field reaches your wallet, the FARADAY card uses that energy to throw out a disruptive signal that scrambles the scan for every contactless card sharing the space. One card, whole wallet.
Does it need charging?
No. There's no battery and no app. It draws power from the reader's own field, so it works on its own, every time, with nothing to charge or fail.
What does it actually block?
Unauthorized 13.56 MHz contactless scans — the RFID/NFC band your bank cards and passport use. Unless stated, it won't affect 125 kHz building-access fobs, and it doesn't protect your phone.
Will my own cards still work?
Yes — pull a card out of the wallet to tap or insert it and it reads normally. The card only disrupts scans while everything's sitting together in the wallet.
How big is it?
Standard credit-card size — 8.6 × 5.4 cm — and thin. It takes one card slot and you forget it's there.

THE PIECE · RFID BLOCKING CARD

One card jams the readers. The whole wallet goes dark.

FARADAY is a single RFID/NFC blocking card. Drop it in a slot and it covers every contactless card sharing your wallet — no sleeves to fumble, no protecting cards one by one. It runs on E-Field technology: when a reader's field hits it, that energy powers a disruptive signal that scrambles the scan. No battery, no app, no charging — it just sits there and jams. Credit-card sized, so it lives in your wallet and you forget it's there.

What it defeats
DEFEATS
Contactless skimming

Disrupts unauthorized 13.56 MHz RFID/NFC scans of the cards in your wallet.

DEFEATS
The fumble of sleeves

One card protects the whole wallet — no sleeving and un-sleeving every card.

DEFEATS
Dead batteries

E-Field tech draws power from the reader's own field — nothing to charge, nothing to fail.

DEFEATS
Bulk

Credit-card size and thin — it takes one slot and disappears.

E-Field — it jams with the reader's own power.

E-Field jams the scan, no battery.

HOW IT WORKS

E-Field — it jams with the reader's own power.

When an RFID reader reaches for the cards in your wallet, its field hits the FARADAY card first. The card uses that energy — E-Field technology — to throw out a disruptive signal that scrambles the read, so the skimmer can't cleanly pull any contactless card sharing the space.

No battery, no app, no setup. It works the instant a reader tries, every time, on its own.

THE BUILD

One slot, every card covered.

Standard credit-card size — 8.6 × 5.4 cm — in a durable PVC/PET/ABS body. Slip it into any card slot and it protects every contactless card in the same wallet at once. No doubling up, no per-card sleeves.

Thin enough to forget, tough enough to live in a wallet you sit on every day.

One slot, every card covered.

Credit-card size, slots in once.

tested with proxmark-curious friend, no read through it. slim, cheap, works. the most boring and most useful thing in the kit

confirmed dead to nfc when sleeved. thin enough to forget. cheapest and most-used thing in my order honestly

  4. Ryan B.
    (verified owner)

Cheap, slim, and it blocks the read — checked it at a tap terminal. Does the job. The material isn’t luxurious but it’s not meant to be, it’s a sleeve. Got two so my partner has one as well.

  5. Noah W.
    (verified owner)

Slim, works, costs nothing. Verified no contactless read through it. The kind of thing you set up once and never think about again. Bought a handful — one per card I want protected. Easy recommend.

got it for my dad who worries about card skimming. easy for him to use, slim, and i tested it blocks before sending it on. good simple gift

  8. Dave K.
    (verified owner)

Works as intended, confirmed no contactless read when the card’s inside. Slim profile. Only note: it’s a snug fit, so a slightly thicker card (my work badge) takes a firm push to seat. Bank cards slide in fine. For €5 it’s a no-brainer add.

does its job, slim fit, cheap enough to grab a few. tight on thicker cards. for standard bank cards it’s perfect

  10. Sophie L.

Tested it properly before reviewing: held my contactless card to a payment terminal and to my phone’s NFC reader app, both with and without the sleeve. Sleeved, nothing — no read, no tap. Out of the sleeve, instant. So it actually works, which you can’t take for granted with cheap RFID stuff. Slim enough it doesn’t change how my wallet sits.

Simple thing done right. Slips over the card, kills the contactless handshake (confirmed at a self-checkout — wouldn’t read through it). Barely adds thickness. For a fiver it’s the easiest privacy upgrade in a wallet. Bought spares for family.

  13. Owen R.
    (verified owner)

Tested, confirmed, done. Card in the sleeve won’t read at a terminal or to a phone. Slim, cheap, permanent wallet resident. There’s nothing to overthink here — it works and it costs a fiver.

threat model is basic but real — opportunistic skimming. this shuts it down for the price of a coffee. tested, confirmed, forgotten about in the best way

  15. Hugo D.
    (verified owner)

  16. edc_tom
    (verified owner)

for the wallet crowd: fits a standard cr80 card snug, kills 13.56mhz reads completely (tested), adds basically zero thickness. cheapest peace of mind in the kit

  17. Sam R.
    (verified owner)

Practical and cheap. Carry a couple of cards I’d rather weren’t silently readable, these handle it — tested by failing to tap through them. Slim, no bulk added. Sometimes the simplest piece of kit is the most useful.

  18. Ethan B.
    (verified owner)

Confirmed it blocks NFC with a reader app — card inside is dead to the scanner. Slim enough I keep my “tap” card sleeved and pull it only when I want to pay deliberately. Cheap, effective, simple. Exactly what it should be.

  19. m_null
    (verified owner)

verified with an nfc reader app. card goes silent in the sleeve. thin, cheap, does exactly the one thing. lives in my wallet now

  20. tariq.k
    (verified owner)

cheap insurance against drive-by skimming. tested it blocks, it’s thin, it stays in the wallet. simple

  21. josh.t
    (verified owner)

grabbed it to hit free shipping, turned out genuinely useful. slim, blocks the tap, cheap. no reason not to have one

  22. Marcus B.
    (verified owner)

Did the obvious test — tried to pay through the sleeve, terminal got nothing. Out it comes, instant tap. So it works. Adds no real thickness. A fiver well spent and it just stays in the wallet permanently.

Parfait.

  24. nico_
    (verified owner)

works, slim, cheap. material could be a touch more durable for daily in-and-out but at this price i’ll just replace it when needed. blocks reads no problem

  25. Camille B.
    (verified owner)

  26. Hannah P.
    (verified owner)

Bought a couple after reading about contactless skimming. They’re slim and they work (tested by trying to tap through the sleeve — nothing happens). Knocking a star only because one of the two had a slightly uneven seam. Functionally both fine.

  27. Aaron T.
    (verified owner)

Slim sleeve, blocks the read (tested). Snug fit which is good for retention but means thicker cards need a push. For a standard card it’s ideal. Cheap, functional, does what it says.

  28. Patrick H.
    (verified owner)

The smallest, cheapest thing in my order and arguably the most used. Tested it actually blocks (it does), it’s thin, and it just lives in the wallet. No reason every wallet doesn’t have one of these.

  29. Étienne M.
    (verified owner)

Parfait.
